To mark the annual Día de los Muertos celebration, Jordan Brand is launching a special-edition Air Jordan 1 Mid that’s decked out in vibrant embroidery to mark the Mexican holiday. Set to launch alongside a Dunk Low we previewed earlier on this month, the pair will no doubt be one for the collectors amongst us as they feature countless limited-edition features that transform the look of the shoes.
It’s not uncommon for Nike to launch sneakers to mark this specific holiday, in fact last year the brand launched another Air Jordan 1 Mid that went down an absolute treat with sneakerheads. Titled the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Siempre Familia”, this pair is easily one of the most striking releases we’ve seen this year.
Crafted from a range of premium materials across the uppers, the sneakers showcase a black and red colour scheme that emits instant OG vibes, however they’re easily overshadowed by the crazy details that sets this AJ1 aside from the rest. Key features include a modified embroidered Swoosh on each side, a multicoloured Air Jordan wings logo and spike details on top of the toe box. Jumpman logos are present on the tongue tabs alongside “Siempre” and “Familia” embroidery on the left and right shoe respectively.
If you’re vibing with the crazy Air Jordan 1 Mid “Siempre Familia”, then the good news is that you can get your hands on the sneakers soon, as they’re set to launch in early October. While this is yet to be confirmed, we’ll make sure to keep you in the loop with all the latest updates and release details as they happen. In the meantime, keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier and check out Inter Milan’s fresh new kit!
