If 2020 was the year of the Dunk Low, then it looks like 2021 will be the year of the Dunk High as we get our best look yet at the Carpet Company x Nike SB Dunk High. A shoe that first leaked earlier this season, it's made in collaboration with the Baltimore-based skate brand and it's unlike anything that we've seen before.
Teaming up with brothers Ayman and Osama Abdeldayem, Carpet Company's take on the Dunk High works on a clean white leather base. This is overlaid by light blue "Royal Pulse" canvas panels that are decorated with various patterns and motifs as a nod to the imprint's name. Co-branded detailing graces the tongue, while their five pointed star logo is finely embroidered around the heel.
Down below you'll find a cream Nike Zoom midsole that gives off a vintage vibe, and this is then lined with a healthy dose of gum rubber underfoot. To round it all off, two custom illustrations are printed on the insoles, finalising the eye-catching design.
While not much else is known about the Carpet Company x Nike SB Dunk High at this moment in time, rumour has it that they'll launch sometime within the first half of 2021. Let us know what you think of this upcoming collaboration, and while you're here, you might as well get up close with the Notre x Nike Dunk High "Light Orewood Brown"!
