The Sean Wotherspoon x Nike Air Max 97/1 was, hands down, one of the most iconic sneaker collaborations of the entire decade. Made with the help of the Round Two co-founder, the thrift shop-inspired shoe brought with it a retro look and feel that sneakerheads both old and new could appreciate. Now, it looks like he will be bringing this aesthetic to the Sean Wotherspoon x atmos x ASICS GEL-Lyte III, and we're taking our best look yet!
Showing off his latest and greatest collab via the consignment store's YouTube mini-series, the shoe is decked out in premium corduroy and touched up in various mismatching colours, resulting in a contrasting design that is sure to turn heads.
Velcro elements make their way to the lateral and medial side panels so you can customise your tiger stripes, and the heel is actually made from a tearaway fabric, revealing co-branded details underneath the "ASICS" logos.
At this moment in time, pretty much nothing else is known about the Sean Wotherspoon x atmos x ASICS GEL-Lyte III, but if the rumours are true, we should expect this rare three-way partnership to hit shelves in the first half of 2020, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled! If you're looking for more high heat sneakers from the Japanese footwear brand, make sure you unlock these 10 bargains in the ASICS Private Sale!
