Without a shadow of a doubt, the Union LA x Air Jordan 4 SP "Off Noir" has got to be one of the most anticipated collaborations of the year. First teased all the way back in July 2019 when ULA's very own Chris Gibbs spoke about it during an interview with Complex, we're now taking our best look yet, and the more we see them, the more we like them.
Serving as the spiritual sequel to 2018's Air Jordan 1 collab, the "Off Noir" features a black denim construction with contrast stitching running throughout in white. "Light Fusion Red" accents grace the top eyelets, while the mesh ankle is dipped in a "Brigade Blue" hue that's as striking as it gets.
When images of this shoe first leaked earlier this summer, sneakerheads immediately thought that it was going to be the first low top Air Jordan 4 in existence. While they aren't 100% correct, this smaller form factor is caused by a folded-over tongue that's unlike anything we've seen before.
What do you think of the Union LA x Nike Air Jordan 4 SP "Off Noir"? Is it a worthy successor to their 2018 AJ1 collab? Expected to hit shelves on August 29th providing everything goes to plan, they'll be dropping alongside a store-exclusive "Guava Ice" variant as well. In related news, the Off-White x Air Jordan 4 "Bred" is dropping later this year!
