The Yeezy 500 'Bone White' has come a long way since we first caught a glimpse of it back in 2017. When Ibn Jasper first teased it two years ago, it was an ultra unique two-tone shoe with a gum rubber outsole to boot. Now, thanks to these new photos from sneaker insiders Yeezy Mafia, it has evolved into something that can only be described as the 'Blush 2.0'.
Previously showcased in a distinctive grey and white palette, the release version of the 'Bone White' is quite literally a slightly lighter version of the 'Blush' mixed in with elements of the 'Salt'. Featuring a mesh, leather, and suede construction, the shoe retains its trademark bulbous design, with a highly sculpted adiPRENE midsole down below for comfort that's comparable to adidas' Boost technology.
When it first leaked, sneakerheads everywhere were beyond hyped for the slither of gum rubber underneath, but it looks like this has been completely removed. Whether you're a fan of this new updated look is really up to you, but a bit of colour wouldn't do any harm, would it?
