UPDATE 01/10/2020 - Yeezy Boost 350 v2 “Carbon”, formerly “Asriel”, is now releasing on Friday, October 2nd 2020.
Without a shadow of a doubt, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Asriel" has got to be the most hyped Kanye West sneaker of the year. News of this colourway first came about at the end of last year, but we never actually got to see any mock-ups until around March. With that said, we're now taking our best look yet at the shoe and exploring a few more intriguing details that make this particular release extra special.

Shots courtesy of sneaker insider @hanzuying, the "Asriel" bears a striking resemblance to December's "Yecheil" drop. Referencing another Biblical term, this colourway boasts a black Primeknit upper that's then touched up with blue, grey, and white detailing, resulting in an ultra unique look that's sure to turn heads wherever you go.
That's not all though, as when you move down towards the midsole, you'll find that the adidas Boost unit has been dipped in an all-white scheme. This is the first time in Yeezy history that this has been done, and it has left us wondering why Ye never decided to do it sooner.
This contrast is as clean as it gets, and with the single line of stitching that runs across the upper and the brand new "infinite" lacing system, we're left with what could possibly be the best Yeezy Boost 350 of all time. Don't @ us.
Release details for the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Asriel" are still quite scarce at this moment in time, but our sources tell us that a September launch is imminent. Let us know what you think of these, and just in case you didn't know already, the Yeezy 700 MNVN "Bone" is getting a limited restock this summer!
