Without a shadow of a doubt, the Yeezy Foam Runner is one the most ambitious Kanye West x adidas sneakers ever made - don't @ me. Unveiled all the way back in June when it was spotted on the feet of North West, they are unlike anything else that we've seen before. With that said, we're now taking our best look yet at the premium clog, thanks to these brand new in-hand images!
Painted in an ultra clean white colour scheme, the upper is decked out in various holes for the ultimate breathing experience. Perforations grace the lateral and medial side panels in the shape of three stripes, while additional holes make their way to the toe box and heel, giving it a shape that's not too dissimilar from the Yeezy 700.
If you're wondering to yourself what makes this particular silhouette so special, it's all down to the materials. In an effort to be more environmentally friendly, Ye has made the Foam Runner partially from sustainable algae. This is a massive step for footwear design and this serves as the first shoe ever to utilise this manufacturing technique.
With a price tag of $75, which converts to around £60, the adidas Yeezy Foam Runner is pretty well priced, and it's expected to drop within the first half of the year. Let us know if your head has been turned, and while you're here, here's why the Nike Air Yeezy 2 "Red October" is the most controversial sneaker ever made!
