While Zion Willamson may be sidelined due to injury, it seems the 21-year-old basketball player is keeping himself busy with his other exploits. The athletic forward has now unveiled a collaboration between anime Naruto x Jordan Brand, with the link-up expected to drop in the coming weeks.
Taking to Instagram, Zion stated: "Excited to share this story with the world. The @jumpman23 Zion 1 x Naruto Collection is inspired by our parallel paths of overcoming adversity. Stay tuned! #BelieveIt". The image included simply showcases Naruto Uzumaki (the show's protagonist), alongside a Jordan Brand logo, giving us a clear indication of the collab.
For those unfamiliar with Naruto, it's a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto that tells the story of a young ninja and his adventures. According to interviews, Zion is a "minor fan of anime," so Naruto must be amongst his favourites.
With no further details, we're expecting photos, release dates and price points for the Zion Williamson Naruto x Jordan Brand collaboration to be released promptly, so make sure to keep it locked in right here for all the latest. In other news, Brain Dead's spring/summer 2022 collection showcases an array of hues.
