Marvel x A BATHING APE BAPESTA Rocket Racoon

The Disney-led Marvel franchise has just partnered up with the Ura-Harajuku-based A BATHING APE streetwear brand to come up with a comics-inspired sneaker collection. Introducing one of its variants, the Marvel x A BATHING APE BAPESTA Rocket Racoon.

This BAPESTA features a comic book illustration of the beloved Rocket Racoon character from The Guardians of the Galaxy on the medial heel. The familiar white-on-red Marvel text logo is featured on the lateral heel. The all-patent-leather upper has greige overlays and a brown heel tab to match Rocket Racoon’s colours. The base showing on the mid-panel and toe box are in pitch-black. The BAPESTA signature star icon in sky blue glides prominently across both mid-panels. BAPE branding in black stands out against the white midsole. A brown rubber outsole caps off the design of this sneaker.
