Part of the 006 collection, the Song for the Mute x adidas Adizero PR “Grey” showcases avant-garde design elements for a modern style. First released in 2004 as a Japan-exclusive model, the archival Adizero PR served as the foundation for the development of the brand’s flagship running franchise, which helped elite athletes break world records across multiple distances. This latest project by SFTM founders Melvin Tanaya and Lyna Ty reinterprets the lightweight silhouette with a high-fashion aesthetic that transcends sportswear.
This rendition flaunts a light grey open mesh upper with a dark synthetic cage around the quarter and eyestay. Stealthy black 3-Stripes bolster the lateral side panels, while clean white 3-Stripes appear on the medial section for a mismatched makeover. Co-branded Trefoil and SFTM logos adorn the tongue and sockliner, complementing the “adizero” label on the foxing and the stitched “SFTM-006” tag near the collar. The metallic adornments and shiny silver lines elevate the trainer’s minimalist construction. A slim yet plush EVA midsole provides all-day comfort and shock absorption, supported by a durable rubber outsole. This iteration arrives in a special-edition package to celebrate SFTM’s latest collaboration.
