The adidas Iniki Runner Boost Red Gum is a similar style to the debut colourway launched with very subtle differences. Given the popularity of that initial release, this Red Gum silhouette is expected to fly of the shelves. Here we take a closer look at this bold and vintage inspired design.
A combination of soft nylon and suede covers the upper which celebrates 70s and 80s era design. It’s about as iconic as it gets complete with crinkled three stripes across the sidewall in an opposing shade of white. That same contrast is utilised across the heel and classic Iniki insignia makes an appearance across the sidewall.
The bold red colourway extends onto the inner lining and a set of matching laces compliments.
The contrasting white Boost unit is a juxtaposition underfoot, a complete 180 on the iconic upper. This modern technology promises the best in comfort and support, powering each stride with re-energising comfort. To finish this colourway, a gum coloured outsole makes an appearance underfoot. It’s yet another subtle reference to the old school.
