Who’s grabbed a pair of the adidas Pure Boost ATR X Crystal? This release came out of nowhere launching at adidas UK with very little hype beforehand. That said, it’s landed with a bang as sizes are now selling quickly. Given the contemporary look and impressive performance features that’s not surprising.
The Pure Boost is slowing crawling up the ranks and gaining a reputation as one of the highly prized adidas performance runners. It joins the ever popular Ultra Boost, but manages to remain completely unique.
A slighter higher construct than conventional runners extends through to the ankle which gives a look not dissimilar to the Yeezy Boost 350. Ultra flexible and soft mesh covers the upper and is stamped with a unique white pattern which gives way to the white Primeknit underneath. This gives an almost vintage, worn-in look as a contrast to what’s otherwise a futuristic design.
To compliment that white upper, a tonal Ultra Boost sole sits underfoot and features a gum coloured outsole. This packs that serious cushioning which delivers re-energising comfort. Whether you’re a long distance runner or wearing these for the urban jungle, this technology is guaranteed to impress.
