Classic meets contemporary as Latin music icon Bad Bunny unveils his latest adidas Originals collaboration with the adiZero SL 72. This hybrid silhouette combines design elements from the early ‘70s Super Light series with the record-breaking technology of the 2008 marathon shoe, forming a unique sneaker highlighting the sportswear giant’s milestones in the running department. Clad in a vibrant makeover, this Bad Bunny x adidas adiZero SL 72 “Blue” presents a retro-inspired aesthetic merging two distinctive eras in sports and fashion.
This rendition showcases blue nylon and suede uppers borrowed from the SL 72, reinforced with yellow textiles and silver synthetics inspired by the first adiZero Adios. Crisp white 3-Stripes cover the sidewalls, adorned with “PARA BAD BUNNY” and boxed adidas labels on the quarter and sockliner as a nod to the renowned Puerto Rican singer. An old-school Trefoil graces the leather back tabs, offset by the black mountain logo on the yellow heel counter. The oversized stitching on the Ecotex tongue brings additional flair to the remixed design. A bright orange foam midsole sits underfoot for exceptional cushioning, backed by a durable rubber outsole and a Torsion support bar. This limited-edition shoe arrives in a custom “PARA BAD BUNNY” box and dust bag.
