Here we take a closer look at the adidas Sleek Periwinkle.
Arriving in a minimalistic colour combo of Periwinkle/Crystal White, this tennis style trainer will easily slot into any rotation and bring a classy pop of colour for spring and summer.
The retro style runner is fashioned from a premium smooth leather in a pale lavender purple hue that covers the entire upper. Tonal purple laces criss cross along the top bringing stability and support, while a padded collar ups comfort levels.
Looking closer the detail of the shoe, it’s a low cut profile sneaker with a very pared back design. 3 lines of perforations adorn the sidewalls to act as the adidas 3-Stripe detailing, while a small adidas logo box sits just underneath the eyestay in gold. The heel counter comes in a plush purple suede to contrast with the smooth texture of the leather.
Underfoot, a thick white rubber midsole brings comfort and support with every step, while the textured rubber outsole has superb traction. We’re going to be styling these through spring and summer with subtle pastel colours – wide leg jeans and spaghetti strap crop tops all round!
