adidas Ardwick SPZL Craft Green

Gary Aspden celebrates the 10th anniversary of the adidas Spezial with an exclusive DECADE Pack for Spring 2024. The capsule includes limited-edition footwear from previous collections, revamped and upgraded for more comfort and better fit. The adidas Ardwick SPZL “Craft Green” headlines the roster, a reinterpretation of one of the most sought-after pairs in the Spezial range. Almost ten years after its original release, fans will finally get another chance at owning the illustrious Ardwick SPZL.

Based on the archival adidas California, the Ardwick SPZL has been designed with the help of Nigel Lawson, founder of the now-defunct independent retailer Oi Polloi. This 2024 version stays true to the silhouette’s streamlined framework, crafted in a verdant green suede upper with light green serrated 3-Stripes and heel tabs. Gold foil prints animate the brand labels on the tongue, replacing the typical Trefoil print of its predecessor. The dark brown leather lining reinforces the sleek design, matching the rubber foxing surrounding the midsole. Co-branded details decorate the sockliners. A gum outsole features herringbone traction patterns as a nod to the classic California model. This pair includes Spezial accessories and packaging to commemorate the milestone.

Hitting the shelves via the adidas CONFIRMED app on the 24th of May, along with other regular SPZL stockists in the UK.
