Spezial founder and curator Gary Aspden officially reveals the adidas SPZL AW25 collection, starring all-new retro-inspired trainers. Nodding to a cult classic model from the brand’s ‘70s Island Series, this limited-edition adidas Samoa II SPZL “Brown Strata” dons an autumn-friendly style through its premium makeover and earthy palette.

In typical SPZL fashion, this pair boasts key design elements that set it apart from the standard Samoa model, often sparking a conversation among dedicated collectors. The Samoa II boasts a rich brown upper crafted with high-quality materials and reinforced with a durable rubber toe bumper. The signature 3-Stripes rest on the lateral and medial sides, complementing the co-branded Trefoil and Mod Trefoil logos on the tongue and rear as a nod to the popularity of Gary’s Spezial line. The standard lacing system and plush collar provide a comfortable fit around the ankles, making this shoe ideal for everyday use. A slim EVA midsole provides ample cushioning, supported by a grippy rubber sole below.
