Here we take a closer look at the adidas Stan Smith Velcro White Blue.
The classic tennis shoe has been given a contemporary makeover with this release. Arriving in a Footwear White/Collegiate Royal, the silhouette has swapped its usual laces for a Hook-And-Loop velcro fastening instead, making them quick and convenient to slip on and off, as well as contemporary in style.
The trainer is crafted from a supple full grain leather upper, which has been applied as one smooth layer with tonal stitching throughout. Looking closer at the details, there are 3 rows of perforations creating the 3-Stripe branding on the lateral sidewall which also acts as ventilation for all day wear. The 3 chunky straps sit on top of a tongue label which has the eponymous tennis legend, Stan Smith himself printed onto it in a bright blue hue.
The royal blue colour is also present on the heel counter, which shows more Stan Smith branding and the Trefoil debossed in white. Underfoot, a textured white rubber midsole has more adidas branding embossed at the rear, while providing optimum comfort and support with each and every step.
