What do you get when you blend a passion for footwear and a love for the sneaker community with a leading brand that pioneers the latest in sports technology? The answer comes in the form of this latest collaborative collection from The Sole Supplier and adidas.
Imparting our creativity on a handful of iconic models, we’ve had the privilege of showcasing our streetwear style. The mi adidas x The Sole Supplier Stan Smith Decon is one of the nine silhouettes launching on Wednesday 19th October.
Pulling inspiration from the current trends found on the streets across the UK, we’ve opted for a contemporary and minimalist look. With the help of the customisation ability of mi adidas, our design process covered everything from material to the midsole type and branding.
As you’ll see from the images, this Stan Smith takes a understated leap from the conventional design. Aptly named the Stan Smith ‘deconstructed’ we’ve kept everything simple. The upper is crafted in a one piece leather construct that features textured suede to the inner. The heel overlay continues this theme, marking its appearance in a shade of gold to match the branding on the tongue.
