Kiko Kostadinov x ASICS Gel SD Lyte UB12-S Lichen Rock

Kiko Kostadinov Studio and ASICS SportStyle continue their Gel SD Lyte work with the UB12-S in "Lichen Rock". Earthy green covers the layered mesh base, while dark brown geometric overlays cut across the cage upper and wrap the heel. Those overlays sit asymmetrically, giving the left and right shoe their own colour placement, and suede and leather panels add structure over the textile beneath.

The asymmetry draws on Simultaneism and Orphic Cubism, the movements behind the shapes and colour breaks in the design. Rearfoot GEL technology cushions the heel, while TRUSSTIC support holds the midfoot. The lacing threads through the cage and mesh rather than a conventional panel. A padded collar tops it off, with logo branding at the heel and a woven pull tab. The muted palette works with raw denim as readily as tailored trousers. One to consider for a rotation weighted towards ASICS SportStyle.
