This hybrid model headlines the amorphous imprint’s second collaboration with the Japanese sportswear powerhouse following the successful run of the Gel-Flexkee. The Protoblast-CMLVIII merges elements of various silhouettes such as the GEL-100™, GELBURST™, and GELHOOP™ 6 to align with Kostadinov’s avant-garde design ethos.

This chunky sneaker features a dark grey mesh upper with a massive “O” symbol atop the toe box. Black and green leather overlays bolster the silhouette’s low-top structure, accentuated with a shiny silver line for additional flair. An embroidered OTTO 958 label decorates the lateral panel, replacing the typical ASICS Tiger Stripes that have defined the brand for decades. Co-branding on the sockliners honours Kiko Kostadinov and Morán Morán’s growing portfolio. The sculpted FF BLAST™ midsole provides superior cushioning and shock absorption, reinforced with firm rubber pieces on the sidewalls for stability and containment.
