Description
Japanese craftsmanship meets British design this season with the brand new Vivienne Westwood x ASICS Gel Saga White! While this is definitely not their first sneaker collaboration, it’s definitely one of their cleanest yet! Extremely minimal in its design, these shoes have a trick up its sleeve that you definitely wouldn’t expect, especially because its located somewhere you normally wouldn’t even think of looking!
Taking on the iconic Gel Saga silhouette, the Vivienne Westwood x ASICS Gel Saga White features an all white leather upper with mesh elements for the ultimate breathing experience. ASICS branding is embroidered onto the tongues, while Westwood’s signature orb logo graces the heel, adding a pop of contrast to the unassuming aesthetic.
As you move downwards, you’ll find a cushioning EVA midsole for comfort that’s truly unbeatable, and this is lined by what can only be described as a work of art. Concealed in rubber, a renaissance style painting is printed on the bottom of the sole. This is complemented by a pair of insoles which follow the same art style.
Blurring the line between sneakers and art, the Vivienne Westwood x ASICS Gel Saga White should not be missed! Dropping on August 18th, this is a once in a lifetime chance to buy a piece of art for just £125!
