The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star High Not A Chuck White is a minimal masterpiece. Made for the hot summer months, this shoe is releasing alongside a stealthy black pair as part of the hotly anticipated ‘UNT1TL3D’ collection, that is described by Nike as an ode to DIY culture.
Featuring an tough wearing canvas that’s been taking a beating since the silhouette debuted in 1917 as a basketball shoe, the Chuck Taylor All Star High Not A Chuck White is painted in an ultra clean off white hue across the upper with “NOT A CHUCK” text written in black, paying tribute to the idea that a Chuck is only defined by the person who wears it. Orange accents peek from under the canvas material, and a chunky vulcanised midsole sits down below with a unique striped look that’s oozing with Off-White x Nike vibes.
When it comes to Cons, the brand new Converse Chuck Taylor All Star High Not A Chuck White takes the cake as one of the most unique colourways of the year. While the design may not be for everyone, at just £60, this is a shoe that definitely deserves a spot in anyone’s collection, whether they’re into sneakers or not.
