Here we take a closer look at the Converse Taylor All Star High Top Pride Grey. This glam rock inspired style celebrates the 50th anniversary of PRIDE. It was also 50 years ago that the Stonewall riots took place. These are considered as the first show of force in the long fight for equality.
Unlike any of the previous Converse x PRIDE renditions, this collection pulls inspiration from the Trans Gender flag. The same colours of grey and pink are featured across the upper. That oversized bolt graphic is a nod to glam styling of the late 60s.
Other unique detailing features across the midsole of the All Star High Top. That graphic extends onto the cream coloured unit along with a trans gender flag across the front portion. To complete the look, the dates “1969 to 2019” are stamped across the heel. Finally, a set of white laces are included.
The Converse Taylor All Star High Top Pride Grey is scheduled to release on 21st May via the retailers listed. This collection will be joined by a whole host of matching apparel. Stay tuned as size runs are expected to be limited.
