Converse greets the spring with a blooming collection. One of the brand’s latest releases, the Converse Chuck Taylor Floral Platform High Black Multi, exudes daintiness despite its dark hue.

This elevated Chuck Taylor has an all-black canvas upper which makes the delicate pastel-coloured embroidered flowers on the edges of the ankle, the tongue and the spine of the heel stand out. A white rubber toe cap, white laces and white exposed stitching bordering the eyelets provide additional contrast. Branding comes in the form of the Converse All-Star round patch on the medial side of the shoe and the matching Converse All-Star rectangular rubber patch on the heel. Hidden beneath the left tongue is an invitation for the wearer to “grow curiosity, gratitude, kindness and positivity.” The right tongue lining provides space for a customised list of “things to grow”.
