Introducing the Fragment Design x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star SE Low Black. This refined silhouette comes at the hands of Hiroshi Fujiwara – founder of Fragment label and respected artist within the sneaker community. His work continues to merge the line of contemporary and iconic with some of the most distinctive releases in the game.
Returning for yet another collaborative pack alongside Converse, Hiroshi looks to the vintage lines of the Chuck Taylor All Star SE Low.
Hard-wearing black canvas covers the shoe from heel to toe. This is contrasted by white stitching throughout and remains completely true to the original silhouette. All the conventional details make an appearance including the chunky, Converse midsole which sits underfoot.
The design remains entirely simplistic and laidback. Unlike some Fragment collaborations, there isn’t any bold graphics or eye-catching colourways. Instead, the monochromatic theme puts all emphasis on the iconic detailing.
A premium overlay across the sidewall complete with Fragment insignia does manage to add some exclusivity. That theme is continued with refined lettering across the midsole reading ‘Converse/Fragment’ and ‘all star’.
The Fragment Design x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star SE Low Black is scheduled to release on Thursday 18th May via the retailers listed. Stay tuned for more updates and stockist alerts on the run up to launch.
