Awake NY x Converse One Star Pro Black

Former Supreme brand director Angelo Baque’s streetwear label Awake NY joins forces with Converse for an apparel and sneaker collection featuring three colourways of the One Star Pro. Drawing inspiration from the ‘90s New York music scene, this debut collaboration between Awake NY and Converse infuses nostalgia with a touch of modernity. This “Black” rendition rocks a minimalist ensemble perfect for lifestyle and skating purposes.

The shoe has an all-black vintage suede construction, accented with embroidered Awake NY in a contrasting white tone on the lateral side. The signature one star logo hides in pitch-black, shifting the spotlight towards the New York-based streetwear label. Co-branded labels decorate the heel licence plate and sockliners. CX foam insoles deliver soft cushioning underfoot, ready for gravity-defying skate tricks and all-day walks. The sail white foxing strip juxtaposes the dark-based upper, while the signature gum rubber sole completes this special-edition Converse One Star Pro.
