However, this new collaboration with Samuel Ross' A-COLD-WALL takes Converse to new heights with a futuristic yet stylish design. Titled the Sponge Crater, this new Converse model features a Crater foam construction equipped with a spandex collar making it comfortably snug. A CX foam beneath the feet also adds cushioning to the user's feet. A series of large oval perforations in some areas provide extra breathability, tongue and heel pull tabs for easy on-and-off wear, and an egg crate-style pods on the outsole for traction. Black and grey colour-blocked on the construction keeps the look stealthy while the knit underlay opts for a Tangerine Tango colour for a pop of contrast.
