New Balance 327 Made In Japan Brown

Charlotte Lee's New Balance 327 emerged in countless colourways after its inauguration with Charaf Tajer's luxury label Casablanca in 2020. The Boston-based brand primarily focuses on its MADE in USA and MADE in UK collections, but this latest addition sees its production all the way in Japan. Working in partnership with the Kakogawa-based shoe manufacturer M.Lab, the New Balance 327 Made In Japan Brown boasts a special type of leather known as "Tochigi", which has been native to Japan since the 1930s.

Discarding the NB327's classic suede and mesh profile, this iteration opts for the premium Japanese material in a tonal tan colourway, leaving the shoelaces, "MADE in JAPAN" tongue branding, and asymmetrical midsole unit in white to deliver a pop of contrast. Finally, the 327's familiar extended outsole opts for gum rubber for enhanced traction.
