New Balance 327 Rust Oxide Orange

As autumn is well underway, Boston-based sportswear powerhouse New Balance launches a slew of inline styles appropriate for the season, headlined by the Carhartt WIP x New Balance 990v6 collaboration. This New Balance 327 “Rust Oxide Orange” emerges in a clean colour palette synonymous with autumnal vibes.

Launched in 2020 in collaboration with Parisian fashion brand Casablanca, the New Balance 327 is a contemporary revamp inspired by the brand’s ‘70s running trainers like the NB 320, 355, and NB SuperComp. The silhouette remained in the lifestyle selections of the brand, where it continues to appear in various general-release styles and collaborations. This colourway flaunts a split design, clad in a light beige nylon base on the lateral panel with a juxtaposing white tone on the medial side. Orange suede overlays wrap the toe panel, eyestay, and rear, igniting an autumn-friendly makeover. Meanwhile, contrasting light blue accents appear on the tongue and sockliner. The chunky foam midsole and black lugged outsole exude a bold design approach to complete the design of this retro-inspired trainer.
