Living up to the hype of chunky sneakers, the New Balance 9060 delivers a sure-fire way to stand out, thanks to its distinct proportions. Since its limited collaborative debut with Joe Freshgoods in 2022, the Boston-based brand rolled out more general release styles in the following months. This New Balance 9060 “Triple Black” gets decked out in a clandestine makeover highlighted by the signature N logo and the decoupled outsole design.

Joining modernised old-school-inspired silhouettes like the NB 327, the New Balance 9060 set the standard for the brand’s chunky trainer selections. Taking heavy design cues from the iconic 99X series, the NB 9060 flaunts a mesh and pigskin suede build with a large N logo on the lateral panel fitting the wavy upper dimension. This colourway has an all-black design that hides most of the upper details, outlined by white stitching around the overlays. The dual-stacked ABZORB and SBS midsoles deliver the chunky look, stabilised by a glossy, translucent heel counter. Raised sidewalls on the midsole and segmented traction pods wrap up this stealthy colourway.
