Originally seeing the light of day as one of four OG AJ3 releases back in 1988, the “True Blue” colourway has since been retroed several times and has also snuck its way onto other silhouettes over the years. The latest sneaker to play host to the aesthetically-pleasing look is the Air Jordan 1 Low “True Blue”, a pair that will likely be highly in-demand amongst sneakerheads.
Crafted from premium tumbled leather and supple suede, the kicks show off a look that consists of white, grey and blue, with Jordan Brand’s iconic elephant print pattern featured on the heel tabs and eyestays.
Branding comes in the form of Swoosh logos stitched onto both the lateral and medial sides, along with blue embroidered Jumpman motifs on the tongues. The famous wings logo is also stitched onto the heels, while other details come in the form of a perforated toe box and padding around the ankles. A full-length cushioned white midsole and blue outsole complete the look.
Should you be looking to grab a pair of these hot-looking kicks, there’s currently a rumoured release date set for the 22nd June, although please be aware that this could be subject to changes.
