Air Jordan 1 High LV8D White Gum

Jordan Brand doesn’t shy away from controversy. In fact, it has leveraged the “banned” reputation of its Air Jordan 1 and even created an entire campaign around it. It’s not surprising that the brand shook things up among sneakerheads in 2021 with the introduction of the Air Jordan 1 LV8D, the platform version of the shoe. Introducing one of the most recent versions of the shoe, the Air Jordan 1 High LV8D “White Gum”.

This high-top AJ1 LV8D has a triple-white treatment for its leather upper. Even the signature profile Swooshes that glide across the flanks are the same material and hue. This silhouette keeps things classy by making the tongues brandless and depicting the Wings logos as just a stitched outline on the lateral collar flaps. The glossy finish of some of the patent overlays add a touch of subtle contrast to the shoe. The only pops of colour on the shoe are the deep red Nike branding on the insoles. A zip-up collar opening, an all-white platform midsole and a white and semi-translucent rubber outsole finish off the design of this sneaker.
