Thanks to Michael Jordan’s legendary career history, gold and Jordans go together like butter and bread, so sneakerheads are always eager to add another to the pile. Built from a tumbled leather from heel-to-toe, this pair is landing in stores with all the premium vibes you could ask for. Using traditional AJ1 colour blocking, this High OG boasts metallic gold accents on the Swoosh, ankle collar and Wings Insignia, tapping into a similar split found on the “Black Metallic Gold” edition from 2020. Turn the shoe upside down and the traditional tread is matched by an equally traditional gum bottom, appealing to the OG sneakerhead inside all of us. Neatly packed inside is a decorative gold hang tag, with a spare set of flat gold laces to add an extra bit of pop if you wish to do so. We’re going to go with the understated look but let us know if you’re swapping out the laces and going for the neck-breaker approach.
