Air Jordan 1 High OG Palomino

Once again, the Air Jordan 1 High is clad in a black and brown tooling, a trusty formula from the folks over at Jordan Brand. Ever since Travis Scott’s Air Jordan 1 High “Mocha” dropped in 2019, sneakerheads have been quick to lap up any Jordan based in a similar palette. You can be sure that the AJ1 “Palomino” will already be at the top of a few purchase lists, so make sure not to sleep on these!

Landing in the silhouette's traditional colour blocking, with black leather used on the toe, ankle collar and side walls, the shoe joins the roster of other darker AJ1s such as the "Royal" and "Bred". A dark brown suede is introduced onto the rest of the panelling, including the toe box, heel and ankle support. When it comes to this particular shade of brown, comparisons can be drawn to the AJ1 “Dark Mocha” from 2020, although this time contrasted against a predominantly black leather. Underfoot, a lighter story takes place as the silhouette's iconic tread is here dressed in brown, split apart by a sail-coloured midsole that balance the darker tones on the upper. Similar to the "Yellow Ochre" edition from '18, gold branding accents on the tongue and sock liner add an extra bit of flair, matching the gold and black Jordan box that these arrive in.

The Air Jordan 1 High OG “Palomino” is undoubtedly one of the more sophisticated AJ1 colourways dropping this year, meaning these can easily be dressed up or down depending on your style.
