Originally dubbed the AJ1 “Chenille” when leaked images first circulated, the upcoming Air Jordan 1 High OG Varsity Red “Newstalgia” is set to launch in the coming months in women's-exclusive sizing. Decked out in a vibrant red colourway and showcasing OG colour-blocking, this pair will no doubt be popular amongst sneakerheads across the world.
Crafted from premium leather, the uppers offer panelling that remains true to the original 1985 design, with Nike’s Swoosh logo featured on either side in chenille fabric. Red Nike Air branding is present at the tongue tabs, while plenty of padding resides around the ankles to ensure that these are comfortable both on and off the basketball court. The toe boxes are perforated for improved airflow, and this is all placed on top of a white midsole unit that provides a full-length cushioning unit within.
With a release date of the 23rd of July, this pair is set to drop via the Nike SNKRS app and select retailers, so be sure to sign up for release notifications via the button above and keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest on this pair and more!
