Debuting in the summer of 1985, the Air Jordan 1 KO still remains somewhat of a mystery to even the most OG of sneakerheads. For starters, no one’s sure on what the “KO” stands for, knock out? knock off? In a world where the internet normally has all the answers, how’s that for mysterious? What we can be sure of is that this release will be the first time that the “Tiffany” colourway has made it onto the Air Jordan 1 KO.
The KO’s unique canvas upper is here as per usual, sat on the Air Jordan 1 sole that was introduced on the 2010 retro, instead of the Vandal-like sole from the original. The regular colour blocking that the model is known for also returns in this shade of tiffany blue, a well-respected colourway amongst sneakerheads. A Wings insignia brandishing the “AJKO” lettering is printed onto the detached ankle support collar, one of the minor differences between the AJ1 KO and High OG silhouettes.
This edition has got some serious summer vibes, so make sure you keep up to date on this release of the Air Jordan 1 KO if you’re thinking about rocking these in the sunshine. Tune in to The Sole Supplier for more information on the drop!
