Jordan Brand adds another Low model to its Air Jordan 1 arsenal as the quintessential sneaker’s 40th anniversary draws closer. We can recall the Air Jordan 1 High ‘85 “Neutral Grey” debut in 2021, alongside a Low OG variant. We now welcome another addition to the ever-expanding roster. This Air Jordan 1 Low 85 “Neutral Grey” displays an authentic throwback aesthetic with the OG white and grey makeover highlighted with yellowish midsoles.
Drawing comparisons to the AJ1 Low OG “Neutral Grey” from 2021, this ‘85 Low edition has a more streamlined shape, staying true to the original eight lace holes setup instead of the Low OG’s seven. The grey suede Swooshes also appear bigger in form, covering more area on the crisp white leather quarter panel. Classic details like the Nike Air on the tongue, Jordan Wings on the suede heel panel, and perforated toes sustain their appearances. Yellowish midsoles deliver a pre-aged aesthetic for a nostalgic vibe, mimicking the “Reimagined” vibe we saw on the highly coveted “Chicago Lost and Found”. The grey concentric rubber outsole wraps up the design of this perfect summer pair.
