Tinker Hatfield first learned about this secret MJ nickname when he was designing the Air Jordan 13. Jordan revealed that only his closest friends call him “Black Cat” because of his crafty play style. The iconic nickname makes its way to the Air Jordan 1 in the form of this kids colourway. This rendition features volt leather underlays with black leather overlays. Embroidered outlines on the Swoosh and heel represent the panther’s scratches. The shoe comes with a panther hang tag which also serves as a patch to cover the laces. Debossed Jordan Wings on the heel and volt rubber outsole complete the vibrant colourway.
