Air Jordan 1 Mid GS UNC to Chicago

The Jordan Brand’s Peter Moore-designed Air Jordan 1 has a new iteration that tells the story of Michael Jordan’s journey from the University of North Carolina to the Chicago Bulls. Presenting the Air Jordan 1 Mid GS UNC to Chicago.

This smaller-sized AJ1 has a “colourless” white smooth leather base. The forefoot is UNC-inspired University Blue suede with a Metallic Gold elephant print finish. The heel counter, on the other hand, is University Red suede, hinting at the “Chicago” part of Jordan’s journey. It has the same treatment as the toe cap, showing off a Metallic Gold elephant print finish. The collar is a metallic colour matching the metallic bronze profile Swooshes on both sides of the shoe. The plush sock liner and insole are University Red while the Jumpman logo on the insole is University Blue. Instead of Jumpman logos, the tongues feature Michael Jordan’s profile silhouette. A white midsole and an icy semi-translucent outsole that reflects the blue and red construction underneath finish off the design of this sneaker.
