The base of the upper is smooth leather in clean white showing on the toe box and the quarter. The rest of the overlays on the toe cap, the mudguard, the eyestay panel, the cupsole and the ankle are all in smooth leather in the MJ alma mater UNC University Blue. The Nike profile Swooshes on both the medial and lateral sides of the shoe are also in University Blue contrasting against the white quarters. The collar flaps are in vintage-looking Sail with the Wings logo debossed in University Blue on the lateral side. A matching Sail-coloured midsole and a University Blue rubber outsole round out the shoe’s design.
