It’s been a long time since 1985 but the Air Jordan 1 continues to innovate. One of its recent iterations experiments with a deconstructed look. Introducing the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low Ex Black Smoke Grey.

The base of this AJ1 is black ballistic nylon. The dissected aesthetic of this shoe comes in the form of exposed foam overlays in black on the toe cap and Smoke Grey on the eye stay panel, the heel counter and the collar edge of the heel tab. Even the black nylon profile Swooshes on both sides of the shoe are distinguishable because of their purposely unfinished edges. Nike Air branding in bright, contrasting red stand out on the nylon tongue and the black insole. A Sail-coloured midsole and a black rubber outsole cap off the design of this shoe.
