Jordan 1 Hi 85 Red Black

To celebrate thirty five years of the legendary AJ1 silhouette, Jordan Brand will be launching the Jordan 1 Hi 85 Red Black on February 8th, just before the NBA's annual All-Star Weekend. What is being described as the most accurate one to one representation of the original Jordan 1 that MJ himself had on feet back in the day, everything from the OG shape all the way to the meticulous stitching has been completely replicated, giving Jumpman fans a taste of the classic. Coloured blocked to sheer perfect, the Red Black is painted in contrasting "Varsity Red" and "Black" panels to give a look that bears a striking resemblance to the iconic "Banned". A bold Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels, while retro detailing such as the "Nike Air" tongue tag and winged basketball motif make a comeback. Perforations grace the toe box for the ultimate breathing experience both on the street and on the court, and down below, a "Summit White" midsole is present, infused with Nike's Air technology for comfort and response that has yet to be beaten.

In terms of numbers, only 23,000 pairs will be available worldwide as a nod to Michael Jordan's jersey number. For added exclusivity, each pair will be individually numbers so no two pairs will be exactly the same. They'll also come accompanied with the iconic hangtag that depicts MJ doing his classic slam dunk.
