Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 High Purple Black

Michael Jordan's Air Jordan 1 from 1985 emerged in numerous renditions through the years, notably high-profile collaborations and OG colourways being responsible for its ongoing presence. Renowned American rapper Travis Scott is one of the collaborators that took the model to new heights, taking the Swoosh logo and placing them backwards. Now following the OG AJ1 High Mocha from 2019 and the fragment design AJ1 in 2021 is the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 High Purple Black.

First unveiled by reputable sneaker insider ready2cop, these new Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 High opts for a purple, black, and white colour mix reminiscent of the AJ1 High Court Purple. The upper opts for a black leather base with contrasting purple overlays and Travis Scott's iconic reverse Swoosh motif in white. Underfoot, the Air midsole sees a yellowish hue, giving the pair a pre-aged look. For the time being, the Cactus Jack motif is missing from the heels, maybe because these are currently just sample pairs. Nonetheless, MJ's Wings motif is still present on the collars. Lastly, it appears that these will come with extra sets of coloured shoelaces.
