Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low Retro OG Away

Orlando-based sneaker boutique Trophy Room is back with another hugely limited Air Jordan 1 offering. Owned by MJ’s heir, Marcus Jordan, the store has been home to various highly coveted retro releases since its opening in 2016. Part of the two-part capsule honouring the Chicago Bulls’ “Home” and “Away” uniforms, the Trophy Room Jordan 1 Low “Away” further immortalises the GOAT’s legacy.

This Trophy Room AJ1 Low “Away” sports a clean sail nubuck underlay, making an appearance across the side wall and vamp. Taking notes from the Teyana Taylor collaboration, the black embroidered Swooshes similar are woven on giving upper an added profile, a detail rarely seen on the numbered Jordan series. Red satin overlays surround the toe box and eyestays, flaunting a silky texture that aids the snug on-foot feel. In terms of co-branding, TR logos adorn the forefoot support panel, while MJ's signature appears embroidered on the black woven heel panel, complemented by the premium gold Wings badge.

Sail midsoles deliver a vintage element, backed by the classic red rubber outsole. Inside comes a yellow dreamcell insole that gives you more comfort than a general AJ1 Low edition, along with an extra set of waxed yellow and sail laces which makes it easier to work these into your 'fits. Inside the open-lid box arrives another clear box, here mimicking the protective cases that ranked trading cards are packaged in.
