The Tar Heels are back in rotation as Jordan Brand reissues the fan-favourite Air Jordan 11 Low “University Blue” in 2026. This specific shade of blue remains a perfect ingredient for best-selling Js as it represents the team colours of MJ’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina. First appearing in 2001 and re-released in 2017, this AJ11 Low is an essential summertime sneaker thanks to its UNC-inspired makeover.

This Air Jordan 11 Low features a clean white leather upper with a soft blue patent leather mudguard wrapped from heel to toe. The Jumpman logo appears on the sockliner and rear underneath the “23” jersey number, while the “Jordan Jumpman” branding adorns the midfoot section of MJ’s favourite basketball shoe. A full-length Air unit rests within the soft Phylon midsole for a springy and responsive ride, reinforced by a sturdy carbon fibre shank plate for stability and arch support. The icy rubber outsole utilises solid herringbone traction pods on the front and back portions for excellent grip.
