Description

Here’s everything you need to know about the Jordan 31 Royal which launches as part of the ‘Flight Guy’ pack. This represents the more contemporary half of the collection, but you’ll also have the choice of the more retro AJ1. Choosing your favourite could be difficult especially given the unbelievable comfort of this design.

This is actually a homage to an image taken of Michael Jordan by photographer Chuck Kuhn. On one cold morning he joined MJ on a deserted runway to snap his favourite choice of kicks. Surprisingly, Michael didn’t opt for this teams red and black colourway but chose royal blue and black. This would soon become the first ever Jordan 1 to be made available to the public.

To commemorate that legendary poster, Nike unveil the same colourway against the contemporary lines of the Jordan 31. Lightweight crafted mesh features from heel to toe with that fade-away swoosh and oversized Jumpman across the sidewall. That deep shade of royal blue is contrasted by hits of black, a theme continued onto the split coloured midsole.

Finally, a set of black laces are included and OG branding features throughout. The Jordan 31 Royal is hitting retailers on Saturday 1st April at 8am.
