Premiered in 1989 during the NBA All-Star Game, the Air Jordan 4 designed by Tinker Hatfield was the fourth instalment to Michael Jordan’s Air Jordan basketball line. From then until today, the AJ4 smoothly transitioned into a fashion staple as we know it, with many stylish colourways like the Air Jordan 4 GS Midnight Navy, which recently joined the line-up.
While Nike and Jordan Brand continue to outfit the retro favourite in new colourways, OG interpretations are just as exciting. This grade school Jordan IV in particular pays homage to the AJ1 High “Midnight Navy” from the CO.JP series in 2001, showcasing a predominantly white leather base with contesting hits of the titular navy hue and black-speckled grey counterparts.
MJ’s iconic Jumpman logo adorns the tongue labels, which also appears on the rubberised heel pull tabs. Mesh overlays and a visible Air midsole unit complete the court classic in true Jordan 4 fashion.
You can buy the Air Jordan 4 GS Midnight Navy via The Sole Supplier app on the 29th October. Turn on your notifications so you don’t miss out on the latest Nike releases and raffles.
