Inspired by samples and prototypes curated by the Department of Nike Archives, the Air Jordan 4 Retro GS “Rare Air” celebrates Jordan Brand’s history. This brand-new colourway revives the iconic Rare Air series, which showcased special-edition styles of beloved retro models since its debut in 2006.
This youth-sized AJ4 features a stealthy black nubuck upper with a hairy suede mudguard for textural contrast. Blue and red accents envelop the midsole, inner lining, and rubberised lace cages for a pop of colour, a familiar colour scheme first seen in the AJ1 and AJ3 editions. A removable Jumpman patch adorns the tongue, complementing the OG-inspired “Nike Air” on the rear and the “Rare Air” label on the insoles. A visible bubble rests on the heel for adequate cushioning and comfort. The outsole utilises grippy herringbone patterns for excellent traction on any surface.
Launching via the Nike SNKRS app and select UK retailers such as ASOS, you can find out where to buy the Air Jordan 4 Retro GS “Rare Air” by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
