Inspired by the iconic 1963 picture book “Where The Wild Things Are”, this pair features subtle but recognisable nods to the literary classic. You can see some touches of author Maurice Sendak’s characters throughout the Nike shoe’s design most especially in the beast-like colourway. The upper boasts a mix of mesh and leather dressed in a creamy light shade of tan, while hints of brown in the midsole, tongue and heel tab complement this dominant hue. A unique feature of this pair is the fleece-lined collar — a likely homage to the fictional creatures in the book. Final playful touches are given in the form of pink, red, blue and green eye stays.
