The Jordan 4 "Metallic Red" is one of four brand-new colourways taht released in 2020. Considered an under rated favourite among serious Jordan heads, this pair of AJ4s have been heavy in the rotation since they dropped. Inspired by a vintage Jordan Brand capsule, this drop showcases a clean design concept matched with equally premium materials.
The metallic effect was first seen way back in 1986, when the same four colourways released as Air Jordan 1’s to great success. Since then, the Metallic Pack has been retro-ed twice, once in 2009 and once in 2016. For 2020, Nike uses the metallic motif on the AJ4, a legendary silhouette that was designed by none-other than Tinker Hatfield. Each pair is crafted from high-quality tumbled leather for a luxury look throughout, while technical mesh and synthetic panels are also present.
